Hello Rosie Greetings from New Brunswick, Canada where we are now recovering from the (second place to the 1973 record setting) flood of our normally very beautiful Saint John River which flows from the north to the south through the provice. Although the flood has been devastating to home and business owners all along the river including our capital city of Fredericton and Saint John (where you were on Christams Eve 2007) we are all grateful that there has been no loss of life or serious injuriy. Our flood and your Icaladic travels have been our topics of conversation. It was very exciting to read your wonderfully descriptive reports and see those fantastic pictures taken by Thorgeir, what a wonderful guardian angel he has been during your run through Iceland. We are so pleased our prayers were answered and that you are recovering from the broken ribs and now able to use your harness on both shoulders. We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Safe journey. |

Greetings Rosie! You sparked my interest when I first saw you on Martha's show, but I was compelled to write when I heard you were in Iceland. The place fascinates me. Now I've read some of your blog-it's so interesting! I'll go back and read more, and I look forward to your upcoming book. I started riding horses later in life and had just been jumping my horse a few years when I got breast cancer. So then I prudently bought two Icelandic horses. They kept me safe and taught me more than I can say here. Yes, they have anchors in their BRAINS. Best to you on your return HOME. |

isn't it amazing - way out there and on Martha Stewart all at the same time! Rosie you are incredible.... Please take care as you negotiate the mountain range. You are now so close. Trust that James will keep us informed after the run is officially over at the finishing town - God bless you, Rosie |
