Dear Rosie, I bought your book yesterday and cannot put it down! You truly are an amazing person - an inspiration to us all. What an honour to be privy to your most heartbreaking, most heartwarming and inspiring journey. I will never duck out of running ever again, even in the driving rain of today! Thank you :-)

Hi Rosie, This is Martha the cashier at Pan's food center in Oak park Illinois. I spoke to you today and googled you when I got home. Boy was I surprised, I had no idea how much you'd done. It was so wonderful to meet you, please come back and visit soon! Martha

Just a quick correction that she was in "Siberia" not "Serbia". :-)

In May 2008 we came across Rosie in Northern Iceland running on an icy road with no one around. I was completely taken aback to see someone running on Iceland's desolate Ring Road. We had stopped to ask Rosie if she was okay. She said she was fine and we continued on our way. It was tough leaving her as we knew that it could be hours before the next car passed her. For several days it weighed heavily on my mind if she was okay. It was cold, snowing, icy roads and high winds out of the North. I couldn't help but wonder how a lone runner could survive this. When I returned home to the US, I immediately got on the internet to find out more about Rosie. I was so happy when the 4 copies of her book arrived last week. I can't put the book down! I can honestly say that while I was so worried about her I can kinda laugh now because the conditions she faced in Iceland were nothing compared to Serbia. Rosie is truly an inspiration and I am glad to know that kind people do exist even in the most remotest of places. YOU ROCK ROSIE!

Thank you Rosie, Received your book today, have already purchased 5 books on ebay, and passed them out to the people in Shipshewana that helped to build Icebird. Read your amazing story of your world run. It really shows your positive outlook on life, and the bright and glowing light you are. I have your 4 other books, they are just as exciting and adventureous as this one. That's for sharing your life.

Dear Rosie, you have inspired me ever since I read you first book. You always manage to put things into perspective for me. It is difficult to imagine having the kind of courage and stoicism that you demonstrate - my mind simply boggles! - but I can and do identify with the love that shines through. Thank you for being. Val
