Dear Rosie, you have inspired me ever since I read you first book. You always manage to put things into perspective for me. It is difficult to imagine having the kind of courage and stoicism that you demonstrate - my mind simply boggles! - but I can and do identify with the love that shines through. Thank you for being. Hi Rosie, I am reading your book and just have a little bit left. Quite excited as I'm just about to read the bit about Iceland. I am half Icelandic and grew up there. I am blown away by your courage and strength; it has made a big impact on me, knowing how brave we all can be, in the face of weakness and fear. Thank you and keep on running :-) Nadia |

¡mucha fuerza! ¡muchos ánimos! |

Rosie, I've just finished your book which has been a constant companion for a week! What can I say that's not already been said! You have the most amazing strength - physical, emotional and mental, and such kindness and sensitivity to all creatures, human or animal. And your fantastic, superhuman strength hasn't taken away your quirky humour either - the personification of Hercules and his relatives, and the T-shirt nest you so kindly made for the snake who looked "relaxed" in your sleeping bag!!! I'm your age and build and have always thought I was fit - not any more, as I carry on with my own 15 mile strolls on the pretty hills of Wales!! Thank you for sharing your achievement with us. What an inspiration you are, Rosie, and may you enjoy your strength and stoicism for many, many more years. Wendy xxx |

Hi Rosie I heard you on Newstalk fm today in Ireland, and i'd just like to sincerely thankyou for reminding me about the things that are most important in life. I am normally very much a sceptic, but you made this cold hearted 37 year old feel human again. Anyway, I wish you the very best and I look forward to reading your amazing story. Go neiri an mbothar leat a cara! Is mise le meas, Brian |

Dear Rosie, My have I missed some good updates and photos by James as I didn't pop into your pages for almost 2 months now. Congratulations on having your book out - I plan to go this weekend and see if it is available here in the tropics......and I'll be buying - and reading non-stop.Please do take some "down time" now to catch your breath and plan the next adventure......Your prostate awareness runs are so worthy. My Father, before he died, told me that he always talked with young men he met and told them that he had waited too long for his medical....he didn't want them to do the same. God bless you - and best wishes once again...... |

Hi Rosie. I am nearly finished reading your incredible book. I just want to say that on every page your humanism, love, caring and generosity radiates. You are an inspiration for all humanity. Your message has inspired so many to have that all important early cancer check and I have no doubt saved many, many lives. My thoughts are with you today, June 12th on this the 7th anniversary of Clive's death. As a boy I remember reading your sailing book. You are a wonderful and totally unforgettable woman. I wish you eternal happiness with your family. No doubt making up for lost time, but knowing you from what I have read you probably don't consider that to be 'lost time' but 'gained time' I thank you for the message you have spread to all corners of our small planet.
