Hello everyone, I’m Rosie’s sister Maudie and from a totally personal point of view, it’s lovely having her back in England for Christmas. We’re always so proud of the things Rosie does, her boundless energy and her positive outlook on life. She manages to be so focused, achieving what she sets out to do and inspiring so many of the people she meets along the way. You probably know that Rosie is very busy right now; writing about all of her travels and adventures over the last 5 years for her forthcoming book. She still thinks of everybody she has met and all the people who have followed her on her route and wishes them happiness and wonderful things at this special time of year. Hi Rosie, I was so glad to get back on your guest book page as I haven't been able to lately due to a error I kept getting. Last year on this date Rosie was in Machias and Rosie the snow was here then. Well if you had been here this year you would find a different wheather change in Downeast Maine as we have no snow and the temps have been in the 50's..the next day you was climbing Cooper Mountain and it was snowing so hard and I was so scared that you would get hit by someone. I called the state police and told them to keep a eye on you as told them who you was. I will never forget the autograph you gave me at Helens and seeing you the last time on 191 in Calais almost ready to cross the Candian border. I cannot wait for the book to come out. Everyone in Downeast Maine hasn't forgot you and still talk about you coming here last year this time. Your such a inspiration to everyone all over the world. I look for to The Run coming out and keep in touch with us Rosie as we all miss you. If I don't leave another message before Christmas I want to say to you and to your family, Merry Christmas and may you and your family have all the peace and love in this world. Hi Rosie and James Thank you so much for the update. Like many of your faithful supporters I check the website on a regular basis and have suffered form "Rosie Withdrawl". I must say it did my heart good to see the latest report from you and to also see the guestbook back on line.
