Hi Rosie, drove past a Spar in Llanarth and spotted you, turned around as we as a family had to meet such an inspirational person. Thanks for allowing some photos. Hope the rest of your journey is enjoyable and dry! Doubt it though with the summer we are having! The Cole Family |

Wow - I read about you in Runners World, you really are amazing. My only complaint was that the article was too short, I wanted to read more! Please tell me you're going to publish a book about it! Very best wishes to you. |

I caught up with Rosie at around 11am this morning 13th August - certainly not an unlucky day for me and if you listen in to www.radioceredigion.net at 10 am till 11am on Tuesday 19th August - listen to us live button- you will hear all about this wonderful journey to Llanrhystud and Aberaeron and listen to all the local peoples views about her epic journey. The programme produced and presented by myself is called Crwydro Cynefin- wandering around the habitats- and a very apt edition of this programme will feature Rosie as she has wandered round the world changing into her 52nd pair of trainers in Llannon today!. There will also be a repeat of the programme on Sunday 24th August 2008 at 12 noon by clicking on Listen to us Live Button. A totally wonderful day in the presence of a lovely brave lady. I was totally in awe of her achievements all day long and I hope to see her again soon or maybe at the end of her epic journey in Tenby on August 25th in Tenby. Dr Glyn Jones 07977 038027 |

Dear Rosie It is absolutely fantastic to know that you are so near that "final footstep" in this unbelievable epic journey/run around the world. I am so very grateful to all those who take the time and make the effort to visit your guest book and leave messages. Their encounters wth you help those of us on the other side of the world feel as though we are still involved in your journey. When I read your report or their messages I relive the wonder and awe I had when first I encountered you on this last cold & windy Christmas Eve near Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Rosie you have been my greatest inspiration and I hope and pray that you stay healthy, happy and safe. My world is a much better and brighter place for having you in it. |

Hi Rosie, I found you on Wednesday the 6th Aug. just finifhing your lunch in a lay-by at llandegla. Thankyou for allowing me a couple of photos of you sitting in the back of your "Icebird". I became aware of your run around the world when seeing "Icebird" parked for the night on the lawn at the Crask Inn up in Sutherland on the 25th June. This gave me your web address and I have followed your progress since. You are a great lady and I wish you well for the rest of your home-leg. The short cut through Brithdir I mentioned did entail a steep bit of road but I see you are well past it. Best regards Brian. |
