Hi Rosie. Wow what a expercience you have shared with all of us. It truly is amazing. I am so glad that you and your son have given us the pleasure to follow this expercience with you. After seeing you on Martha Stewart Show and then getting the pleasure of getting your autograph at Helen Resturant in Machias I am going to miss the updates every wk on your progress and the places you have been for that wk. After seeing you climb Cooper Mountain on 191 in a dreadful snowstorm (Dec 07) and seeing you get closer to Calais to get to the Candian boarder was truly amazing. I do look forward to your book as I am so excited and cannot wait for it to hit the stands. I hope to hear that there will be a movie also made ON THE RUN. I am keeping my fingers crossed I truly would love to see it. Congradulations Rosie. You are a remarkable, inspiring person whom I am so glad to have met on the run. I will never forget it. I wish I could be there on your home coming but will be there in spirit and with others from Maine whos lifes you touched. You still are talked about here. I was one of the party of walkers setting off up Cadair Idris, who met you in the Minffordd car park today. We couldn't quite believe what you have (almost) done. It made climbing Cadair seem a doddle in comparison. We're sure you'll inspire many others to just get out there and make things happen. The world needs more Rosies! Best wishes from all of us. |

Hey, Just want to wish Rosie all the luck in the world as she comes towards the end of her run! I met Rosie in on the monday 28th July in Preston. She came to the hair salon i work at in the city centre, Friargate Hair And Beauty. She came in to buy some conditioning spray, but then decided to stick around a bit longer and let me cut her hair...in her words "only a teeny tiny tiny smidgen off" very cute! It was a pleasure that i was the one that cut her hair, as she told me that it was the first time since she had started her run that she had come to a UK hair salon! Rosie is the one of the most interesting people i have ever met, and i could of listened to her storys for hours! She has a heart of gold :] Laura xx |

Rosie, I U-turned on my bike on the way home from a miserable wet training ride, on the hill out of Dolgellau where I had to wish you good luck! I only did 40 miles in the pouring rain, so I can only imagine what you've gone through, and what committment you have; you are truely an inspiration, and completely bonkers!
