Thumbs up for you Rosie and enjoy your welcome to your home! My husband has maintained that walkers are the happiest of people, pointing out that you never meet smiling runners, but you do meet smiling walkers. Perhaps you have proved his theory. My own experiences in your "field" culminated in my participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in N.Y. last October with two dozen friends from Iceland, and that was truly amazing. Gave me a feeling of contributing importance, that the energy created would in itself help to find the cure for cancer, in addition to the money raised. Cheers and admiration go out to you! Keep walking and keep smiling! Ragga. |

You went to my Brother's (Steve Groves) after he'd stopped to help you with your puncture in Maghull. It was great to read all about you and your mission and I was moved to see the pictures he posted. Best wishes for your safe return home. |

Dear Rosie, I have a picture that was taken of you and me in Orland, Maine in December 2007. It was snowing hard. I've been following your trip and have enjoyed watching your progress. I am happy you are getting closer to home. Bill |

Just saw Rosie on theA59 nearing Maghull (my hometown) from Ormskirk at about 3.00pm. Didn't know anything about her but saw the tag on her cart (is that Iceberg?) so checked out the website as soon as I got in!! Think it's an amazing thing you're doing and I feel honoured to have seen you! Now I know about it, I will check the site regularly to see how you're getting on! Hope the people in Liverpool are friendly and, shoud I ever see you again, I will beep my hello! |
