Hi Rosie, I've been following your progress for a good while. Do you know when you will be in the Western Lakes? - Would be good to see you in person. Can offer you a bed/camping spot on your way to Eskdale |

Hi Rosie. Saw you sitting opposite the filling station in Beauly yesterday. We were going to come & have a chat but you were busy on the phone. I never knew anything about your trip so checked out the website. Amazing stuff - I admire what you're doing/have done. I drive for a charity that works in Eastern Europe aswell as Africa & India but your trip makes my efforts seem like small beer! I wish you a safe journey for the rest of your trip. John |

I passed you on 28th June on the Old Military Road travelling south towards the Falls of Shin, between Lairg and Invershin. You were jogging and smiled and said "Hello". I was hiking north on my way to John o'Groats from Land's End. I am ashamed to admit it only registered with me after we passed, that you were doing something out of the ordinary, to say the least. You were one of the main topics of conversation at Crask Inn when I arrived there a day later. Also today at the coffee shop in Bettyhill. All positive and amazed. When I start moaning about my tired feet after my short walk. I will think of the amazing Rosie and here epic journey. Now on the final leg, just a short walk home for you (he says humbly) Welcome home Rosie from another passerby. |
