Hi Rosie. We waved to each other last Friday on a remote Scottish road; you running towards Altnaharra, I cycling to John o'Groats. Your epic adventure humbles my vehicle supported ride from Lands End; words cannot express my respect for you. I fervently hope that one of the national TV companies will produce a feature length programme, for your exceptional bravery and achievement will touch and inspire so many. I shall follow your progress with interest and my wife and I intend to lend our support and encouragement at some point on the final leg of your journey through Wales. May God be with you. |

Dear Rosie: I was so sorry to miss you when we were in Scotland last week. I never did hear what your route was to be, and although we were as far north as Golspie, we weren't brave enough to tackle any back roads without knowing for sure where you were. (It was enough of a challenge on the left side of the road and single track driving without trying to be intrepid explorers. We leave that to you.) We are glad you are back on home soil, and wish you well for the rest of your journey. I am sending some pictures that I had ready to give you should we have met up. |

Dear Rosie, How wonderful it is that you are within reach of finishing your journey around the world. By the looks of the photos the wheather was wonderful when you stepped off the boat to greet your family. When you passed thru Machias, Maine in December of 07 and stopped to Helens Resturant and stayed at the Schoppee's Inn with cold winds and lots of snow. I am so glad that now on your last leg of your journey that it will be nice and warm. I have been following your journey being posted to your website by your son James whom everyone is so grateful and thankful. I love it that you got to stay at Martha Stewarts place here in Maine and that everyone in Maine that you did meet will never forget what a amazing person you are. I truely hope they make a movie of your journey. It would be awesome. I look forward for you to write your book so everyone can read it. I will never the last time I saw you getting ready to cross the Candian boarder in Calais. I am so glad that I got to meet you and get your autograph and to watch the interview that you had with the news reporter.
