Hi Rosie. I saw you today in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. Just outside the tourist information center as well as at the mall. You parked right beside our car. And I must say I had no idea that someone was running around the world!! You are simply amazing!! You are doing such a wonderful thing and I wish you all the best in the last leg of your journey and I hope you have a splendid time here in the Faroe Islands! God Bless You!!! |

Dear Rosie, It's 34 degrees C while I eat breakfast and catch-up on your news after some days in meetings without computer access......so, so pleased to know that you are in the Faroe Islands and having a "breathing space" to be in tip-top shape for the UK run. I wish I could fly in and see you in Tenby at the finish - it will be a marvelous day and I'm looking forward to seeing the photos on the web. Actually, photos all the way from north to south! And thanks again to James for his work on this good site. I'm looking forward to purchasing your book! God bless you, Rosie, and give you safety on the last leg of a wonderful journey. |

Dear Rosie, I was sitting here thinking of when you past thru Machias, Maine in Dec and compared to the snow that was here then and now with the flowers blooming, and the green grass and everything being so fresh and new, I wished you could have past thru here with it being like it is now. I have been following you every week on your progress and now you have come to the end of your journey in Iceland. Your stories are truly amazing and wonderful and I cannot wait for you to write a book about your journey. You and your family must be so excited to know that you all will be seeing each other again in a few weeks. I hope we get to see your last part of your journey on TV. You have touched so many people lives with your journey. I know I will never forget you passing thru Machias, and I got your autograph and then seeing you on 191 on Cooper Mountain in a dreadful snowstorm, and then the next day sitting on the side of the road having a warm drink, and then the very last day I saw you I gave you the biggest toot from my car with a big wave to your journey thru Calais, Maine to the Canadian Boarder. Everytime I pass the spot where I last saw you I think of you everytime. I am so happy for you Rosie. I hope you have the biggest home coming. I am going to be sad when it comes to a end because I look forward every wk on the progress and the amazing stories you have written about your journey..really a movie could be made out of this...has anyone asked you yet???????????? It would be totally awesome....and I cannot wait to read the other books you have written...so congrads to you Dear Rosie...you are truly amazing and I hope all your dreams and wishes you have wanted have and will come true...I will be with you in thought to the end of your journey...everyone is so proud of you...take care and god bless you...~~Tammy~~~~ |
