Hi Rosie - We're Randy and Nancy, the cyclists who met you several times near Whitehorse, in the Yukon. We're now far south of that territory in northern Colombia, in South America. It's HOT here! We'll continue to use you as inspiration as we climb up into the Andes and do the next 16,000 kilometers or so to the bottom of the continent. We always think of you, and just were so happy to check in on you and see you looking so good! -Randy and Nancy |

Rosie, I teach English as a Second Language at Foothill College in California. Your story was featured in the first chapter of the reading book I am using in one of my ESL classes. The whole class was thrilled to read about a 60-year-old grandmother doing this since they said that normally grandmothers just sit at home and take care of grandchildren. Many of the students wrote that they hope to be like you no matter what their age might be. I was curious myself after we finished the chapter to find out what had happened to your journey, and today I came upon your website. I have passed this on to my class this weekend, so you now have another 25 people reading about your adventures. Good luck and hopefully no more broken ribs! Richard |

Dearest Rosie! I have been following your journey as you run along, and I wonder how it is for you every day in that unbelievable cold. We think Wisconsin is cold! I trust you will mend quickly, and I regret not being able to take care of those wonderful feet and toes, as I am sure they need it. Thank you for running through our lives here in Pepin, and get home safely to the arms of those who love you! Best love JHanks |

Hi Rosie, remember us at the US / Canadian border? We're keeping track of your healing and progress. Spring has arrived and we're sampling maple sap and syrup here in our classroom. Thanks again for the inspiration, Us |

Hi Rosie Wow we are finally getting some spring weather in New Brunswick, Canada and while we are enjoying this wonderful change our thoughts are of you and your unfortunate accident in Iceland. It is our sincere hope that you are close to a full recovery and will be able to conclude your journey to Tenby free of pain and out of physical danger. We are anxiously awaiting your next report and hope to lean that you have succeeded in finding passage to Scotland. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. |

I was so saddened to hear you broke your ribs. I know you can "will" your ribs to heal quickly. If I remember correctly this is at least the third time you have broken ribs. Had to look twice at the picture pulling the two wheel cart in Shipshewana. That's me in the cart. This is when and where the idea of building Icebird started. You were so surprised how light weight the carts were, even the large carts were lighter then Charlie. I am so honored to have been able to help equip you with your lighter cart. Just sorry it ran into you. Keep up the good work and positive attitude. |

Broken ribs have given you a wee bit of time to share some more of the early, early part of your story. Thanks for doing that Rosie. May you mend well and fast. Great pictures ...thanks to James for his good work too. I'm so glad I can keep up with Rosie's incredible journey through the web |
