Hi Rosie, Do you remember the chap that you met in Siberia who was doing the "round the world in 90 days on a motorcycle trip"? He stayed at our B&B in Nova Scotia last year and shared part of his story with us. I told him that he was a book waiting to be written and then he told me about meeting you and the astonishing journey that you are making!! WOW! This is the first time that I have visited your website and have only just begun to read your story. I only wish that I had come here earlier so that I could have arranged to meet you on your way through the Maritime Provinces in Canada. I just wanted to say that what you are doing is amazing!! Of course, you don't need me to tell you that. LOL I admire your strength, both physical & mental. You are such an inspiration to so many people and I wish you all the best for the remainder of your trip. Hang in there...you're almost home!! Jane |

The end of all our journeys is to arrive where we started from and to know the place for the first time. Well done! |

Hello Rosie. I'm the teacher that got you to come and talk to the kids in Blonduos today. I just wanted to let you know we wrote on our homepage about you beeing here (www.blonduskoli.is). The kids were very excited and I know many of them are going to look at this site to know more about your journey. Good luck with the rest of windy Iceland - and all the way home! Dear Rosie, We are the "Brain Bashers"(A maths group)who are writing from Barrow,England.WE are Annie,Hannah,Abigail,Jordan,Sophie and Reece aged between 9 - 10. We have been studying your journey and making maths problems out of it e.g. looked at how many miles you've travelled, worked out your average mileage. looked at the range of temparatures you have run through e.t.c. We have been following your progress on the internet and we found it very good and interesting. You certainly have sen some dramatic things on your way (especially your frost bitten toe!) We were inspired by your bravery and determination while you have been running around the world so when we had to make a poster on inspirational people, at school, we chose to do it on you. Hope you are OK and fully recoved from your unfortunate events. Best wishes for a successful journey home, from all your inspired Brain Basher fans. P.S We can't believe one person could run that far and we are looking forward to seeing/hearing in the news that you successfully get home to Tenby in Wales in June 2008. |
