Hi Rosie - and Grace! Wonderful to hear about the continuing adventure since Rosie left us here in Truro/Brookfield, Nova Scotia, Canada. We tried to send emails directly to Rosie but they failed - I'm sure communication must be a challenge at times! :) Snow Bear Grace was wondering if Rosie had got her newspaper today - (it is Grace's job to go out in the morning and collect the newspaper from wherever it may have been thrown/blown to..she often has to dig it out of a snow bank!)..and as we get a paper, Grace reasons in her 4 year old mind that Rosie must get one too, so Grace has decided it probably gets put just by the side of Icebird every morning, and it is called the "Rosie paper" as of course, Rosie was in the paper...hope you've had a chance to read the local paper along the way Rosie! Thank you Grace (in Nuuk) for keeping us so well informed - I failed miserably at writing the one report Rosie asked me to - was at the "Rosie party" when I should have been home typing!!! I did send the report Rosie, just too late - sorry!!!! I know you will enjoy Iceland....you are in our thoughts and prayers every day..with love, the Snow Bears.

PS. just to clarify why Rosie needs to get in touch with the DHL office. Icebird is there, ready and waiting for Rosie to pick her up. Icebird was shipped by DHL via Copenhagen, Denmark to Iceland. Thank you DHL. :-)

Hi everyone, just came off the phone with Rosie. She left Greenland today and had a pleasent 2 hour flight to Iceland. She is now in a hotel room in Reykjavik. The plane arrived in kinda late so the people at the DHL office had already left for the day when Rosie tried to phone them. Rosie has been spending her unexpected "free" time in Kulusuk working on her book about her 5 year odessy and she says, she is pleased with the progress. I asked her about the weather and Rosie says it's a lot warmer in Iceland than it is in Greenland. She is pleasently surprised by the weather. I also asked her if she was getting decent food and she said she was. :-) I had already told the hotel in advance about their celebrity guest and about Rosie's web site and the woman at the reception told Rosie, that she would contact Icelandic media tomorrow and tell them about Rosie and her run. Rosie sounded in really good spirits and is looking forward to getting on the road again. :-)

Hi Rosie It was so fantastic to read your latest travel report. Grace with Nuuk Tourism has my gratitude as she has done a tremendous job both on the website and here in your guest book keeping the rest of us around the world feeling as if we were actually there sharing in your adventures. Your descriptions of the warm, caring people of Greenland and their wonderful rugged country are so seductive that they make me want to personally visit there. I do hope you are able to get your flight to Iceland on Monday. I wanted you and others to know we share your story with everyone we encounter and invite them to join us on your website to learn more about you and the amazing "Rosie Story". As always our thoughts and prayers are with you.
