It was with pleasure that I made Rosie's acquaintance as she was passing through Saint John New Brunswick, Canada on Christmas Eve. We only spoke for a few minutes in the warmth of my car and up to this point I had only remembered vaguely the story of a woman running around the world to help promote cancer awareness. Actually getting to meet her and speak with her was even better than a Christmas present. I have nothing except admiration for her courage and stamina in this quest and I wish her all the best on her continued trek to Greenland, Iceland and a Triumpahnt return Home. Our prayers are with you. Godspeed and God Bless. |

Goodmorning Rosie - Just thinking of you this early a.m., while watching the sun rise - have just read your latest reports and am happy to hear of your great luck in getting to Greenland - our family have renamed the side road we found you on just outside Pennefield, New Brunswick - we now drive by "Rosie's Road", and it is rather cute, everyone says "Hello Rosie", when we go by. Anyway, on this wonderfully crisp morning with a beautiful sunrise hello from SaucyGirlz, SaucyMum and SaucyPup - Be safe and warm |

Hi Rosie I do hope you arrived safely in Greenland and that you were able to get some much needed rest before you commence running across that vast land. Since meeting you on Christmas Eve I find myself thinking about you and wondering if I, (or anyone I know) could ever be so at ease/peace with myself and the world that I could spend five years (with myself) on a quest such as the one you have been on. I could not. I do not have the courage, confidence, passion, dedication or all the other admirable qualities that you possess. To state the obvious you are one very special human being. The lives you have touched will forever be changed by your incredibly generous gift. Keep safe. |
